Vijayawada, Oct. 3 -- The Opposition YSRCP leaders today sought Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer's intervention to stop the government's proposal of privatising newly approved medical colleges.
Dr. Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav, Chairman of the YSRCP NTR District Doctors Wing, along with Tanubuddi Chandrashekar Reddy, Chairman of the YSRCP NTR District Vaidya Vibhagam, submitted a representation to Governor Abdul Nazeer at Raj Bhavan here during the day.
The memorandum drew urgent attention to two critical issues: the State Government's decision to implement a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model for 10 newly approved medical colleges, and the suspension of the NTR Vaidya Seva scheme.
