Bhimavaram, June 9 -- Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries Bhupatiraju Srinivasa Varma has said that the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has earned Rs 17 crore of profit because of a special package announced by the Centre.
He also disclosed that the third Blast Furnace of the VSP would be inaugurated soon to enhance the production capacity.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, said that new projects were sanctioned to the Narasapuram Parliament constituency within a year, besides Rs 100 crores had been sanctioned under CRIF for the development of the Losari-Bhimavaram-Pippara road.
