Vijayawada, Oct. 25 -- union Minister of State for Heavy Industries Bhupatiraju Srinivasa Varma met Divisional Railway Manager Mohit Sonakiya, here on Friday at the DRM's office.
During the meeting, the union Minister reviewed the progress of ongoing development works at Amrit Stations - Narasapur, Tadepalligudem, and Bhimavaram as well as Road Over Bridge (ROB) & Road Under Bridge (RUB) projects in Narasapuram Parliamentary Constituency.
The stoppage of trains at key stations and new services as well as provision of passenger amenities was also discussed. The Minister appreciated the efforts of Vijayawada Division in enhancing passenger facilities and expediting infrastructure works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
