Kakinada, July 17 -- Union minister of state for Communications and rural development Dr Pemmasani Chandrasekhar has declared open the new buildings of the Peddapuram sub post office by` virtually' at a function held at Peddapuram on Thursday .
Superintendent of post offices Kakinada division Dasari Surya Uma Nageswera Reddy, while welcoming the guests said that the post office new buildings were constructed at a cost of Rs.1.78 crores in a 390 sq meters plot.
He said the India Post organization was providing its services for the past 170 years and the Peddapuram post office would provide more efficient service from the new buildings.
He claimed that the India posts had extended its services even during the Carona endemic period.
