Kakinada, Jan. 1 -- On New Year Day on Wednesday two intermediate students of a local college, were drowned in the sea while bathing in Ramakrishna Rao Peta beach on Wednesday,police said,
The body of one of the students swept ashore while a search was on for the other.
The port police who registered a case identified the deceased as Srinivas and Sai. Pending further investigation the body was shifted to a government general hospital for postmortem, police added.
