Eluru, Dec. 16 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism Kandula Durgesh, accompanied by MLAs Chintamaneni Prabhakar and B Radhakrishnaiah, inaugurated the district museum here on Tuesday.
The district museum was constructed at Kotadibba area here at a cost of Rs. 5.25 crore with the funds extended by the state and central governments. Later the minister visited the digital book room, sculpture gallery in the museum and appreciated the officials for using advanced technology. He also saw the statues of Sriram, Lakshminarayana, Garuda, Vaishnav Rushi and rare clay statues and antiques which were put on display in the museum.
