Rayachoti, March 15 -- In a freak incident, four people including three siblings died after they inhaled smoke emanating from a motorcycle in Punganur of Annamayya district on Sunday.
Police said that Murali got his motorcycle repaired and parked it in a room in his house. On the advice of a mechanic, he kept the engine running throughout the night. Murali's father Ramnachandraiah, son Karthik, twin daughters Charita and Chandrana slept in the room where the motorcycle was parked.
They inhaled the smoke emanating from the bike and they died while on sleep itself. In the morning, Murali went to the room and found his father, son and twin daughter dead. However, Murali and his wife Revati slept in another room.
