Ongole (Andhra Pradesh), May 5 -- The police arrested a three-member notorious burglar gang and recovered gold jewellery and silver ornaments worth over Rs 85 lakh and 6 Kgs of cannabis in Podili town.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Prakasam district Superintendent of Police AR Damodhar said the trio committed burglary in the house of Beeram Nasar Reddy on April 14 in Podili town.
Special teams were formed to arrest the burglars. The police examined the footage of CCTV cameras and got a clue that the burglars went to Prodduturu.
