Vijayawada, Feb. 28 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Agriculture K Atchannaidu has reaffirmed the Government's commitment to make farming lucrative by inducting advanced technology and stated that free power is being provided to over 22.5 lakh agriculture pump sets in the State.
The Minister, replying to supplementary questions, in the Legislative Assembly at Amaravati, near here on Friday, said that the Government is providing nine hours free power to the farmers and 68,988 new agriculture power connections had been given so far to the farmers during FY 2025-26.
