Amalapuram, Dec. 30 -- Unidentified miscreants destroyed a Shiva Lingam at Draksharamam village of Konaseema district on Tuesday, police said.
The century-old Shiva Lingam was in a pond and it was found destroyed in the morning. SP Rahul Meena accompanied by other officials examined the place.
The police pressed sniffer dogs to collect clues. The police were examining the CCTV footage to identify the culprits, the SP said, adding that four special teams were formed to nab the offenders.
