Vijayawada, Feb. 28 -- G Sai Prasad assumed charge as the Chief Secretary of Government of Andhra Pradesh here on Saturday. Prasad took charge from outgoing Chief Secretary K Vijayanand who retired on superannuation.

Special Chief Secretaries SS Ravat, MT Krishna Babu, B Rajasekhar and Principal secretaries Shyamal Rao, Mukesh Kumar Meena, Kanthilal Dhande and other senior officials met the new Chief Secretary and conveyed wishes. The Chairman of the 20 point programme implementation committee Lanka Dinakar and chairmen of various corporations also met the new Chief Secretary and conveyed their wishes.
