Vijayawada, Nov. 2 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar has announced that the paddy purchasing will begin on November 3 across the State.
The Minister said in a statement here on Saturday that the government set a target of purchasing 51 lakh tonnes of paddy produce from the farmers during the 2025-26 Kharif crop season.
He informed that for the purpose, 3,013 Rythu Seva Kendras and 2,061 paddy purchase centers have been set up across the State. Farmers can register their details by sending the message "Hi" to the WhatsApp number "7337359375", the Minister said.
