Eluru, Sept. 6 -- District Collector K Vetri Selvi directed the officials to set up check-posts at the border areas to prevent illegal transportation of urea fertilizers to neighboring States.
The District Collector here on Saturday held a video conference with the officials and reviewed the availability of fertilizers and distribution of urea fertilizer to the farmers across the district.
Speaking on the occasion, she directed the officials to lay a strong vigil at the district border areas and set up check posts to curb illegal transportation of urea fertilizer. She inquired with the officials about the stock of fertilizers in the district and the process of supplying it to the farmers.
