Vijayawada, Dec. 24 -- The Andhra Pradesh government's health department is to send vital medicines and blood units through drones to hospitals located in remote areas where tribal people live.

The state Medical and Health department has signed an agreement in this regard with Redwing company.

AP Health and Family Welfare department Commissioner G Veerapandyan and Redwing company representative K Madireddy in a release here on Wednesday said that vital medicines, blood units and vaccines would be supplied to the hospitals, located in the agency areas, about 60 km to 80 km away from the district headquarters in ASR district, where tribal people live, through drones.
