Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), March 7 -- Kakinada district Superintendent of Police Garikipati Bindu Madhav flagged off the 2k Run for women to mark the celebration of International Women's day, here on Friday.
The run commenced at Nagamalli thota junction and reached Bhanugudi center and culminated at the District police Center into a public meeting.
Bindu Madhav while addressing the participants said that women were in no way inferior to men and they can excel in any field. The SP advised them to make best use of the opportunities provided by the government for their all round progress.
