Vijayawada, Aug. 28 -- Incessant rains under the impact of low pressure wreaked havoc in Srikakulam, ASR and NTR districtsas roads were damaged, crops in thousands of acres marooned and over hundred villages were surrendered by flood water.
All rivers, rivulets, irrigation canals and nalas were overflowing in the Coastal AP districts following incessant rains. Road connectivity was cut off to many villages in Srikakulam, ASR and NTR districts and flood water was overflowing on roads. The first warning signal has been sounded at the Prakasam barrage here as it is receiving over 4 lakh cusecs of flood water.
