Eluru, July 23 -- Home Minister V Anitha, flanked by IGP GVG Ashok Kumar and MLA Balaraju, inaugurated the newly constructed police station building in Polavaram today.
The police station building was constructed at a cost of Rs 2.50 crore. There are 10 rooms in the police station building. Speaking on the occasion, Home Minister Anitha said that Andhra Pradesh police department stands top in the country. She predicted that the Polavaram police station would play a crucial role after completion of the Polavaram project, being constructed across the river Godavari, in Polavaram constituency.
