Eluru, May 16 -- The Central Government has approved the construction of four Railway Over Bridges (ROBs) in the Eluru Parliamentary Constituency, Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar has said.
In a statement issued on Friday, the MP said that he has continuously monitored and pursued the railway-related issues in Delhi. As a result of these efforts, the Central Government has given the green signal for the first phase of ROB construction.
The approved ROBs are strategically planned to improve connectivity and reduce traffic congestion. The ROB would be useful to ease traffic congestion on the national highway at the renowned pilgrimage centre Dwaraka Tirumala and the Kolleru tourist center.
