Guntur, July 21 -- In a ghastly road accident, four members of a family were killed, and three others were injured when the auto rickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a mini-transport vehicle at Kanamarlapudi village of Savalyapuram mandal of the district in AP on Monday.
Police said that two women were among the four dead. All the deceased and the injured belonged to one family. The accident took place when they were going to Vinukonda from Karumanchi in the auto rickshaw.
The deceased were identified as Battula Brahmaiah, Naga Marthamma, Ramana and Mutyalamma. All the deceased belonged to Karumanchi village. The injured were admitted to the GGH in Vinukonda.
