Visakhapatnam, April 14 -- Demonstrating a spirit of selfless service, JVSS Sarma, former General Manager (Projects) at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), donated his rare O-negative blood for the 39th time to support a patient undergoing heart surgery.
Sarma donated blood for a patient identified as M. Srinivas Rao at Medicover Hospitals, where the patient is scheduled to undergo a critical procedure.
Known for his humanitarian values, Sarma has continued his service-oriented activities even after opting for voluntary retirement.
A regular donor, he contributes blood once every three months, setting an example of commitment to society.
