Vijayawada, April 24 -- YSRCP State Co-ordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Friday called upon party workers to focus on relieving the distress of farmers in Andhra Pradesh facing a severe crisis due to lack of remunerative prices and inadequate support from the government.

He announced that the YSRCP farmers' wing would be strengthened and made more active to address their issues.

A meeting of the farmers' wing working presidents, state vice presidents, general secretaries, and district presidents was held at the party central office in Tadepalli under the chairmanship of Jinnuri Rama Rao, with senior leaders in attendance.
