Vijayawada, April 23 -- Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has objected to the TDP government's proposal of acquiring over 20,000 acres of land from the farmers at cheaper prices for the construction of Outer Ring Road (ORR)APCC Vice-president and senior Congress leader Kolanukonda Shivaji in a statement here on Thursday said that the farmers are vehemently opposing the government's proposal.
The Congress leader said that the Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up for Phase 2 land pooling to acquire around 20,000 acres from farmers for a 200 KMs long Outer Ring Road (ORR) around Amravati, with a 140-meter width.
