Eluru, May 13 -- The Eluru district police have recovered 594 lost/stolen mobile phones and handed over some of them to the owners.
Superintendent of police Pratap Shiva Kishore told the media that the CCS, cyber crime, and the law and order police personnel recovered 594 lost or stolen mobile phones worth Rs 71.28 lakh.
The district police, during the 15 phases of lost/stolen mobile phones recovery drive, have recovered 2,976 mobile phones so far, worth Rs 4.75 crore. The police teams recovered lost/stolen mobile phones in some other states and other districts as well.
