Vijayawada, Sept. 26 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu warned of serious action against those who commit crimes against women and those who spread fake campaigns using social media platforms.

Speaking in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on the law and order situation at Amaravati, near here on Thursday, the Chief Minister announced that crimes against women had decreased by 4.84 pc in the past year, while dowry deaths declined by 43%, murders of women dropped by 15 pc, and female suicides reduced by 59%.
