Vijayawada, Sept. 19 -- In order to encourage the coconut-based industries, the Andhra Pradesh government will establish a common facility centre at Pedapatnam village in Rajole assembly constituency at a cost of Rs 9.96 crore under the MSE-CDP scheme.

Minister for MSME & SERP Kondapalli Srinivas, while responding to questions raised by members during question hour in the Assembly at Amaravati, said the government has proposed to set up these industrial clusters in East Palem, Pedapatnam, Lanka Uppalaguptam, Mamidikuduru Mandal, Amalapuram Constituency, to set up coconut value-added industries.
