Vijayawada, Nov. 14 -- The Andhra Pradesh Congress has said that the CII Partnership Summit scheduled to kick off in Visakhapatnam from Friday onwards will turn out to be a waste of money as it can not fetch the projected investments.

In a statement here on Thursday, the party's state unit vice-president Kolanukonda Shivaji said that the AP government's ambitious estimate that the Summit would fetch over Rs 3 lakh crore investments was highly exaggerated. Moreover, the government is spending crores of tax payers money to organize the event using three helicopters and providing expensive boarding, lodging and other facilities to the delegates.
