Guntur, Dec. 26 -- The Guntur district police have seized 157 kg of ganja from January to September and arrested 279 drug peddlers.
Informing this to the media here on Friday, district Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal said the police seized 157 kg of ganja, arrested 279 drug peddlers, registered 53 cases and seized 17 vehicles. The police also seized 1.8 liters of hash oil, the SP added.
The police during the months of October, November and December seized 65 kg of ganja, 150 grams of hash oil, 28 grams of MDMA drug and arrested 164 peddlers in Guntur district.
