Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), April 29 -- The fishermen and boat owners of the port city have taken out an impressive rally in the Upputeru with their boats by decorating them with TDP's yellow coloured flags and flexes of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, hailing the enhancement of the usual fishing ban period cash compensation from Rs.10,000 to Rs.20,000.
City MLA Vanamadi Venkateswera Rao was in the forefront on the yellow flower bedecked mechanized fishing boat holding the Telugu Desam party flag.
The fishermen expressed their happiness and gratitude by leaving the yellow balloons into the sky and raised slogans in favour of the NDA government and Chandrababu Naidu.
