Kakinada, Oct. 10 -- Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Panchayat Raj K Pawan Kalyan has asserted that a special committee will be set up to prevent industrial pollution and directed the district officials to audit the pollution emanating from the industries in the district.
The Deputy Chief Minister held an interaction session with the fishermen in the Collectorate here on Thursday. Later addressing a public meeting at Uppada village, he said that he wanted sufficient time to understand and analyse the industrial pollution in the region and assured of formulating an action plan and setting up a committee to study and recommend measures to prevent industrial pollution.
