Kurnool, July 13 -- Three teenage boys drowned in Tungabhadra River when they entered the river for a bath at Mantralayam on the night of Saturday. SI Shivanjulu told the media three youths of Karnataka state came here on pilgrimage.
After having darshan of Sri Raghavendra Swamy they went to the river on the night of Saturday. They entered the river for a swim and washed away. As the Tungabhadra River is in spate the bodies were washed away in the flood water.
The three bodies were fished out of the river and shifted to the GGH for postmortem. The deceased belonged to Hasan in Karnataka state and were identified as Ajit (19) Sachin (19) and Pramod (19).
