Vijayawada, Sept. 15 -- Andhra Pradesh Government Chief Secretary Vijayanand today highlighted the state's massive renewable energy push, and announced that APDISCOMs have invited tenders for solarization of 2,93,587 agricultural pump sets, with a total solar capacity of around 1,163 MWAddressing the Collector's conference in the Secretariat at Amaravati, near here today, the Chief Secretary stated that land parcels are being provided to developers, and the project will be completed by March 2026. He also discussed the rooftop solar programme aligned with the Government of India's initiative.
