Vijayawada, Dec. 2 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday directed officials to take up an action plan to set up solar panels on 438 Government office buildings to produce 150 MW of power.

He also took a decision to extend the incentives to Ferro Alloys companies for one more year. With this the government has to bear a burden of Rs 1,053 crore.

The Chief Minister conducted a review meeting on power sector at the secretariat in Amaravati near here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister directed the officials to reduce the power transmission losses which stand at 9.20 per cent at present.
