Vijayawada, Nov. 28 -- The Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders for the constitution of Anna Canteen Advisory Committees across the State for monitoring hygiene, food safety and punctual functioning, it was announced on Friday.
The constitution of the advisory committees follows the directive of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to ensure community supervision and improvement of food quality in these subsidised canteens. The advisory panels have to ensure that service delivery remains consistent with notified standards besides technology-enabled surveillance, feedback capture and grievance resolution.
