Vijayawada/New Delhi, March 8 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT, Electronics, Education and Human Resources Nara Lokesh, on Saturday dismissed concerns of Hindi imposition, emphasising India's linguistic diversity and felt that every state is unique and should have the freedom to promote its local language.
Speaking at India Today Conclave 2025 held in New Delhi, Lokesh felt the need to go beyond three-language policy and learn global languages like German and Japanese.
"Many job opportunities are opening up in Germany and Japan, especially for nurses and homecare professionals. We have agreements to teach German and Japanese to nurses, ensuring mobility and employment opportunities abroad," he said.
