Visakhapatnam, April 8 -- : Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tribal Welfare Rani on Wednesday directed officials to ensure that payments for agricultural produce procured from tribal farmers are made through online mode to maintain transparency.
Reviewing the activities of the Girijan Cooperative Corporation (GCC) here, the Minister stressed that tribal farmers should be paid reasonable prices for their produce.
She instructed officials to ensure that DR depots and procurement centres in agency areas function effectively to support farmers and facilitate smooth procurement operations.
