Vijayawada, Dec. 17 -- The Andhra Pradesh Government is implementing 75 CSS schemes with Rs 15,173 crore funds allocated by the Central Government and matching State contribution of Rs 9,340 crore.
Dr. D Ronald Rose, Secretary Finance (Budget & Internal Finance) of Andhra Pradesh government, presented a comprehensive overview on the Implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) at the 5th Collectors' Conference here on Wednesday.
Dr. Rose explained that the State has adopted two fund flow mechanisms for CSS implementation. Under the State Nodal Agency (SNA) system, districts maintain zero-balance subsidiary accounts linked to the main SNA account, with funds released only when required to avoid idle balances.
