Vijayawada, May 9 -- Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu condoled the death of Army jawan M Murali Naik, who belonged to Kalli Thanda village of Gaddamthanda panchayat of Gorantla mandal in Sri Satya Sai district of AP.
In a message here on Friday, Governor Abdul Nazeer said: "I am deeply saddened to learn that Army Jawan M. Murali Naik of Kalli Thanda village in Gaddamthanda panchayat of Gorantla mandal in Sri Satya Sai district was martyred in the ongoing Operation Sindoor in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. I offer my tributes to the brave soldier for laying down his life in defending the nation and express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members."
