Vijayawada, April 14 -- Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer offered rich tributes to Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his 133rd Birth anniversary, by offering flowers to his portrait at a programme held at Durbar Hall in Raj Bhavan on Sunday.
Governor Abdul Nazeer said Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was the chief architect of the Indian Constitution that guarantees equality and equal protection of law to all the citizens.
The Governor said Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was a great son of India who fought relentlessly for the emancipation of downtrodden sections of society and raised his voice against social discrimination, injustice, and inequality. Officers and staff members of Raj Bhavan were also present on the occasion.
