Vijayawada, Aug. 28 -- Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and YSR Congress Party President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has strongly slammed Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of deceiving women with false assurances and half-executed schemes.

In his statement released on X, YS Jagan said Naidu had promised women free bus travel but restricted it to only 5 out of 16 bus categories. Out of 11,256 buses, the scheme covered only 6,700, and even here multiple conditions were imposed. Non-stop express services, numbering 950 out of 1,560, were excluded from the plan, which is a betrayal of women's trust.
