Vijayawada, Feb. 14 -- The Andhra Pradesh police seized 46,011 kg of ganja and scientifically incinerated and disposed of 1,12,406 kg of the narcotic in the previous year, as per a report of the state's Enhanced Action Group for Legal Enforcement (EAGLE).
The annual EAGLE 2025 report revealed that from January 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026, the law enforcement agency seized over 46 tonnes of ganja, registered 1,836 NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) cases, and imposed Rs 72.44 lakh fines.
