Eluru, Nov. 24 -- Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan laid the foundation stone for Rs 8.7 crore worth development works on the grounds of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Jagannadhapuram village in Eluru district of Andhra Pradesh on Monday.

The endowments department had allocated 30 acres of land to the temple. Kalyan handed over the relevant documents to the temple management. He was accompanied by Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar and Collector Vetri Selvi.

Radakrishmana Mandapal would be constructed at a cost of Rs 3.5 crore and a new road would be laid from Jagannadhapuram village to the temple at a cost of Rs 3.7 crore, officials said.
