Ongole, July 4 -- Andhra Pradesh deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan laid the foundation stone for the 'Amrita Dhara' drinking water project at Narasismhapuram village in Markapuram constituency on Friday.

The drinking water project will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1290 crore under the Jal Jeevan Mission programme. The drinking water project aims to provide potable water to over 10 lakh people in Prakasam district west region. Addressing a public meeting on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan recalled that the Jal Jeevan Mission is a dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide drinking water to all.
