Vijayawada, Oct. 28 -- As many as 12,135 people have been shifted to the relief camps in Kakinada district as a precaution, even as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today reviewed the preparedness of the state's official machinery to face the advancing Montha cyclone.
With the storm expected to cross the Kakinada coast tonight, Naidu accompanied by Dy.CM K Pawan Kalyan, Home Minister V Anitha, Chief Secretary Vijayanand and other ministers interacted with district collectors. He directed the collectors to remain on high alert and closely monitor the situation.
