Vijayawada, Dec. 1 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary K Vijayanand instructed the officials on Monday to take steps to regulate the rush of devotees at private temples across the State to ensure safety and hygiene.
Addressing a review meeting at the Secretariat, he noted that several festivals and special functions are lined up in the coming days and therefore all temples are expected to witness large crowds. The officials concerned must also focus on monitoring the private temples within their jurisdiction.
