Vijayawada, Jan. 2 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary K Vijayanand affirmed on Friday that with the aim of minimizing revenue-related problems in the state, the government is distributing new pattadar passbooks to every farmer who owns land.

Speaking after holding a video conference with District Collectors, Chief Secretary Vijayanand said he has directed them to personally supervise the distribution programme to ensure its smooth conduct.

He said that the distribution of new pattadar passbooks with the state emblem has been undertaken in place of the old pattadar passbooks, adding that this passbook distribution program will be conducted every month for a year.
