Vijayawada, Oct. 10 -- Andhra Government's Chief Secretary K Vijayanand has directed the district Collectors to ensure that the SC and ST atrocities victims are provided timely compensation.
Similarly, to create awareness among the people about the SC and ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, and District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee meetings should be held once in three months to review the cases registered in this regard, compensation provided to the victims and other issues.
