Vijayawada, Aug. 29 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu ultimately succeeded in taking the Krishna river water to his constituency Kuppam and the Chief Minister will perform Jala Harati to the Krishna water on August 30.
The Krishna river water reaches Kuppam constituency after flowing 738 kilometers, touching 19 Assembly constituencies and filling 10 reservoirs on the way. Telugu Desam party founder and former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao had launched several irrigation projects during his tenure to Make the drought-hit Rayalaseema region as fertile land.
