Nellore, Oct. 10 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a Bio Energy Ethanol plant at Eedagali village of Venkatachalam mandal of the district on Friday.
The Vishwasamudra Bioenergy Ethanol Plant, set up in an area of 24 acres, is producing 200 kiloliters of ethanol per day. For this, farmers are benefiting by purchasing more than 15,000 tonnes of rice grits, cotton and crop waste. Along with the welfare of farmers, they are contributing to the progress of the country by producing ethanol.
The Chief Minister congratulated the Chintasa Siddhar Foundation for undertaking three good projects for the farmers-environmental welfare, animal conservation, and Nandagokula Life School for students.
