Vijayawada, Oct. 31 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today directed the officials to focus on protection of submerged crops as part of post Montha cyclone relief measures.
The Chief Minister told them that the submerged agricultural fields should be identified through satellite images and initiate measures to drain out the water on a war footing.
The Chief Minister held a teleconference with officials in the Secretariat at Amaravati near here and reviewed the post cyclone situation.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister ordered officials to focus on improving the drainage system to protect the submerged standing crops.
