Vijayawada/New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials to be on high alert and be prepared for the flood situation. The floods of the river Godavari and Krishna turned to be grim in Andhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister conducted a review meeting with government officials on the heavy water inflows and flood situation in the Godavari and Krishna rivers in New Delhi virtually on Friday. The CM interacted with Chief Secretary K Vijayanand, DGP Harish Kumar Gupta and other senior officials through a teleconference to assess the latest developments.
